About Designer
Yiling Wu is a London-based textile designer from Taiwan. Graduated from the London College of Fashion with specialisation in digital embroidery, her experience inspires her to explore relationship between cross-disciplinary materials and embroidery.
Her artistic exploration delves deep into the intricate interplay between traditional and contemporary embroidery. By blending tradition with modernity, her creations exist from fashion, fine art to textile innovation.She inspired by her Asian heritage and perspectives of life, her explorations of embroidery brings new possibilities to the age-old embroidery craftsmanship with the sense of contemporary, controversial and experimental appearence.
About Anyform
As an embroidery designer and freelancer, yiling has realised embroidery can showcase it’s own beauty more than only being a decorative elements of fabric – it has unlimited possibilities beyond fabric. Also she sensed the gap between embroidery and innovative textile which still remains to be explored.
Since then, she devoted into exploring creative combinations between embroidery and unconvantional materials such as resin and transform them into experimantal textile pieces to challenge traditions and expectations of craftsmanship – and that is where Anyform studio started.
Why naming Anyform studio
“Anyform” is a freedom of will, representing shape, performance and creative expressions. The name reflects Yiling’s adventurous spirits of experimenting different form of textile and possibilities of embroidery beyond fabric.
Anyform is not only a name, is also a personal statement from Yiling to the world which contains her spirits, artistic journey and belief in textile as a medium to structure her world of freedom and fluidity.

At Anyform studio, design is about freedom and transformation, and embroidery should never be limited to solid boundaries. We create pieces by blending heritage and experimental approach, reinterpreting with freewill drawing and unconventional embroidery techniques and materials.
When integrating cross-disciplinary materials such as resin and water-soluble techniques, the studio pushes embroidery beyond fabric, creating new form of textile to challenge traditions.
All of creations are profoundly design and made-to-order in the UK, crafted by Yiling and her skillful artisans with love. Every single piece we crafted carries unique meaning and stories from Yiling's Asian background. We carefullt source our materials around the world with the highest standard, also creating our own materials in order to provide the most unique experience to our audience.
